I am here now.
I made the LONG switch over to blogger, but I feel good about that.
There are still a lot of tweaks that need to be made, so hang in there!!!

I have been contemplating making the switch back over to blogger.
Why, you may ask! Well, wordpress is still pretty difficult for me to manage. My knowledge of code is VERY basic and with WP you need to have a stronger understanding.
I still have my WeSnLaNi blog over there, but I have to switch over by hand since you can export from WP to blogger :( That could take a while since I have so many posts, and I also will lose all my comments! Hmm..I don’t know! Something to think about! If anyone knows an easy way to export, let me know!! PlEaSe!!
I do have a lot to post, but I am waiting until I make the final decision…

We have been on the look out for *affordable* dairy free foods for Lani since finding out about her allergy to dairy, and beef. In the grocery store I discovered tofutti proucts, and I LoVe them! I have never had anything “dairy free” taste so much like the real thing!! We had the pizza today and it was so yummy! There was none of that “soy” after taste that I find in so many products. Lani was not too fond of it, but that is because she is picky, not because the pizza did not taste good. So, I paid $3 something for 3 meals for Lani. I think that is affordable. They have sooo many products and when Lani gets over her ” I hate everything that is not pasta and chicken fingers diet” we will definetly purchase more!!
We also discovered Blue Bonnet Light is also dairy free. Just be sure that it is the “light” in the blue box. I have only been able to find it at Hannaford, for those who are local to me. It tastes good on toast, but I do not recomend it for baking!! I tried making cookies with it and they went FLAT!!! It does say this on the box, but I figured I would try it anyway:)
**************************************
Lastly, the semi-sweet chocolate chips from wal.mart are also dairy free. I found this out from one of my vegan friends. Not sure if she meant the “Great Value” or the “Sam’s Choice”. She has been giving me some great products to try that are not SuPeR eXpEnSiVe!! They are not “specialty” products, therefore affordable:) Which is what I am all about!
I will continue to post any of my finds since I know that a lot of people have been finding my blog while searching for allergy information. I am happy to share these products!! If you have any suggestions, pass them on and I will try them out, then write a review.

…do you?
It seems that I haven’t heard to much 9.11 today! I still remember every detail about this day, and anyone who knows me, knows that I have a HORRIBLE memory! I didn’t know anyone personally who was affected by this tragedy, but I am still so heart broken for those who were! My brother is a fireman and I can’t imagine knowing that he was going into something like this!! I know he would!!!
Please take a moment today to ReMeMbEr!!

My little brother Jon is now a HUSBAND!! That seems so strange to say… but I love it:) His new wife Jillian is so sweet, and I am so proud to call her family! YAY for another sister:) We had a fabulous time at the wedding despite Lani being a little under the weather, not eating and wanting to be glued to “Mooommeee” the whole time!! She looked DAMN cute though!!!
On FrIdAy Ashleigh and I headed to the mall for a little shopping. She needed some wedding clothes and I was more than happy to get out of the house for a little shopping:) We went and took Wesley out of school a little early, headed home, and finished packing! Michael and I only snapped at each other a little bit ;) We always get all snappy when we are in a rush to get somewhere, but we get over it! LOL! I made sure that I warned Ashleigh about it before hand!!
We started up north and didn’t forget ANYTHING! Thanks, of course to my list making…such a miracle! We headed over to Jon and Jillian’s BEAUTIFUL new house to get settled. Lani chased the “ditties”, the girls beautified themselves, and Wesley chased his Uncle Jon around! We followed Jon and Jillian to the rehearsal and of course Wesley had to ride with them. The rehersal was fine, a little crazy like most are! The kids listened better than the adults.
The dinner was at a resteraunt nearby and we all followed each other over. It was a small bed and breakfast and was so comfy and cozy. The food was delicious…chicken cordon bleu, beef, mashed potatoes, carrots, squash souffle, and an And.es Can.dies cake for dessert. I loved that it was served “family style” with us passing dishes around the table. Of course Wesley and Lani ate NONE of it. God forbid we eat somewhere with no mac n’ cheese or chicken fingers:) Lani not eating it was because everything was drowned in butter or cheese:) I did bring her some peanut butter and bread though and she munched on that. After the dinner we went back to Jon’s and Jillian headed to her parents.
Lani slept like CRAP that night! She fell asleep at 11pm and woke at 6pm! GRR!!!
It was now SaTuRdAy, the big wedding day:) We were up bright and early with the kids, which made the morning drag on. Lani continued to chase the “ditties” while Wesley watched TV. Thank God Lani went back down for a 2 hour nap, so we could all get ready in peace!! Jon went over to Jillian’s brothers house to get ready and wait for the Limo. We brought Wesley over a little later so that he could ride with the boys. Justin’s (my brother) girlfriend was there so she took some good photos! I was sure to get over to the lake before the limo. I wasn’t sure how Wesley would be, but he was FINE!! He followed around Jon and the boys all day. They were all super nice to him and said he was very well behaved. Hmm…must be talking about someone elses son! LOL!!
We did get a passing rainstorm right before the wedding was about to start. It poured, but it was so dry outside that the ground sucked it right up! Thank god because we all had heels on:) It cleared right before most of the guests arrived and the sun came out. It was HOT but we were just glad that there was no more rain!
We all headed out and the limo came carrying Jillian and her ladies! Wesley waited patiently outside the limo for Erinn, Jillians niece and the flower girl. I loved Jon’s face when Jillian got out:) It was priceless and I did manage to get it on film! He is soo in love with her! The ceremony was beautiful, short but so touching and meaningful! Jillian was crying before she even got into the gazebo, which of course made me lose it:) I always cry at weddings, but this one was even worse since it is my LITTLE BROTHER!! Wesley performed his job as ring bearer perfectly! He did not complain or cry ONCE about the heat, not even when they were getting pictures done.
The reception was perfect and very traditional. We had a yummy catered dinner very similar to the rehersal dinner. Lani munched on the pasta salad and Wesley actually ate some roast beef! My brother, Justin, was the best man and he gave an AWESOME speech! There was not a dry eye in the house! It was very sweet, meaningful, and I am tearing up writing this!! LOL!! I really wish I had it on video. Then went through the cutting of the cake, first dance, the Mother and Father dances (Jillian’s Dad BAWLED, and you guessed it so did I), the dollar dance, and my favorite part…the catching of the garter and bouquet:) Ashleigh (my sister) and Tim (one of Jon’s friends) caught them and the DJ then proceeded to embarass them to the extreme! I was laughing soooo hard, but Asheigh was a good sport and definetly made a drunk single guy VERY happy!! LOL!!! Of course he followed her around like a puppy dog the rest of the night and bought her beers! Ash made it clear she had a BF but Tim didn’t care and she was more than happy to not have to buy another drink!! HEE!!
Wesley was a dancing fool and called himself “the star of the dance floor”!! I am not sure what made him come out of his shell, but I LOVED every minute of it! Michael never dances with me, but Wesley will now:) Of course, until Lani sees someone else touching me:) Tempers flare at this point!! Lani just kind of wandered around looking cute, fussing a bit, then going back out onto the dance floor! We ended the evening by going back to the newleyweds house, packing up, and heading home!
The whole day was beautiful and I loved being with my family and meeting Jillian’s! They are all so sweet and Jon is lucky to be a part of that!

Too bad I typed a post today for Wendy and I did something on here and I am guessing that WordPress doesn’t auto save like Blogger. Grrreeat! ::insert sarcasm::
I guess there is no point in telling you about the poem I typed for her.
Yep thats right I wrote her a poem. Since HOURS have passed, I have lost it. It was a poem about her cute little pokey ears. It was really good….Basically saying that I think your ears are cute. And Hey it could be worse……
You could look like this~~~>
Ohh and to let you know the last picture is Andrea as a little boy in…ohh sorry my mistake. ::snickering::
I HOPE your laughing right now!!!
And if your not then MAYBE this will make you laugh…or how about this? Okay now that I KNOW your laughing…you can log on to my blog account and make fun of my mommy boobies or my recently chipped front tooth, in my mouth of jacked up teeth.
Love ya mean it!
Ohh BTW…THE AUTHOR OF THIS IS ELIZABETH a.k.a.The Pointless Babbler!

I tell you, I had planned to be a fabulous guest blogger. Even though Wendy told me if was fine if I wasn’t witty or couldn’t get to it, I still feel like I need to make at least one entry for her while she’s away!
This is Jessica blogging for Wendy, by the way. Some of you already know me but I’m sure many others here do not. This should be my big debut to everyone who doesn’t know me yet. I should write something fascinating, an article that will blow you out of your seat thinking, “I can’t wait to read what else Jessica has to say, I don’t know how I’ll survive between her blog entries!”
Instead, I have nothing. My brain feels like mush this morning. Between family drama & hormones I’ll be lucky if I can even spell “espresso” this morning. (look at that, I did it!)
So, for those who don’t know me, some basics:
I’m blogging from here:
Wendy blogs from here:
I’m quite jealous that she lives so close to Boston. That’s one of my favorite cities, my husband & I visited twice in the first three months of our marriage & haven’t been back in over five years. I still day dream about it though. If you’ve never been to Boston you must visit. No ifs ands or buts about it.
I seem to live in the tourist capitol of the world, AKA The Mouse House. Disney was so close that when we had passes we’d drive by & stop just to ride one ride & then leave the theme park again. The place just doesn’t hold much appeal for me even though I know there are people all over the world who save so that they can visit. My parents always told me that I didn’t have a normal childhood but I don’t think I really realized what they meant until I got a bit older & moved away.
I do know that Wendy & I both enjoy scrapbooking & that’s actually why I didn’t get to post yesterday. I was too busy printing photos for a crop my friend had at her house. My husband kept calling to see how late I was going to stay. Men. They just don’t understand the concept of sitting for hours talking with your friends. My husband doesn’t mind (thankfully) he just doesn’t seem to get it.
Now, I must leave you to paint the town red: dancing, cocktails, high society & all that. Or, maybe I just need to go get ready for church & a visit with my in-laws. I’ll let you believe whichever you choose.

…I have no one who wants to be a “guest blogger”? Darn!! I thought you all would be lining up:) LOL!!
Michael is on the way to Boston. Ashleigh’s plane is getting in LATE tonight! He took a long nap this afternoon and I even bought him a hot fudge sundae:) Well, I guess he technically bought it for himself!!
Here is our itinerary for the weekend if anyone cares….
ThUrSdAy: I am still have Alex and my other child care kids so we will just chill out around here. I am sure that Ashleigh is going to be tired and will sleep in! Ahh, the days of sleeping in:) Wesley also has open house and then we are meeting my brothers and their significant others in Concord for dinner. I hope we can fit a tattoo (scroll down) touch up in here some where also.
FrIdAy: Michael has to work on the morning and we are getting Wesley out of school early. Head to Concord to pick up his tuxedo, holy crap, he is going to be sooo cute! (yes, I will have LOTS of pictures) Then head up north. The rehearsal is at 6pm with dinner to follow. We are staying at Jon (my brother) and Jillian’s house.
SaTuRdAy: The BIG day! Wedding is at 2pm and I am not totally sure what the plan is. I so know that Lisa is doing my hair and hopefully, if time allows, we will be having lunch. I am super excited to see her again!! (On a side note: It is going to be 90 degrees here this weekend!! WTH?? I had totally change what I was going to wear.) We are staying at Jon and Jillian’s again since it is a long ride home for us.
We are going to be busy, but I am super excited for Jon and Jillian, super excited that Ashleigh is going to be here when I wake up in the morning, and that I get to see Lisa and her family again:)
I may be back before we head out on Friday, but I am not too sure. I will try to stop in on a few blogs!

…but instead I am going to catch up on a tag from Elizabeth.
Before I get to that, Michael is picking Ashleigh up at the airport tomorrow night:) I am beyond excited! My lil’ brother is getting married on Saturday and Wesley is the ring bearer, so this weekend is going to be BUSY!! I may not be around Thursday to Sunday since I will be away from internet connection!
If you would like to “guest post” here let me know!! SERIOUSLY!!!!
I would LOVE to have as many as I can and I think it would be soooo much fun!
*******************************************************
Now onto the tag!!!
It is called FACE BEHIND THE BLOG!
1st step Post a short blog article that includes a photograph (or a series of photos) showing the face behind your blog. If you already show a photo somewhere on your site (such as in your about page), then make your post more interesting and choose a photo that’s not currently online.
Here are mine…Elizabeth, no making fun of my ears!!!
2nd step Include links to other people that have displayed a photo, or include their photos in your post, adding a reference.
3rd step Tag as many others as you like to spread the meme.
I will tag everyone who reads this…Just let me know if you take part!!
***************************************************************
I also wanted to show you Michael’s newest purchase!! A while back I mentioned a gift that Michael had bought for himself.
He actually used money from our deck fund for his new guitar! I was okay with it though because I know how important this is to him. He is going to be a SUPER STAR:) I did mention that he is fulfilling one if his life long dreams by being in a band. Michael (rhythm guitar and the hot one), Ray (singer and lead guitar), Josh (stand up bass and our BIL), and Dan (drummer) call themselves, ”The Knuckle Cocks”. I think they sound FABULOUS and I am not just saying that:) Their music style, I believe, is pretty much rockabilly. Michael may have me edit this once he has had the chance to read my description.
The boys just found out today that Knuckle Cocks will be opening for a band called Ho.t Ro.d Fu.ry. The details haven’t been worked out since the show is not until November, but HOLY CRAP!! This is sooo huge for these guys and I am sooooo excited for Michael:) Such a great way to get their music out there, HRF has a large following here in NH!!

I am not sure if you have heard of the latest blog craze, but it is called “Pay it Forward”. I commented on a post over at Emma’s Blog and I am going to receive a nice homeade gift from her. She makes some beautiful cards and other goodies so I am thrilled!!
So, I now have to pay it forward by offering the same gift on my blog. The first 3 commenters will receive a homeade gift from me, a 12 x 12 scrapbook page. I will talk over the details with those 3 gals! All you have to do is “pay it forward” by offering something similar on your blogs! If you comment and don’t want to participate, just let me know:)

Here are some cute collages that I made earlier…
Lani was having a ball with my glasses! I don’t wear them so I am glad that someone is! See that crunched up smile? Don’t you LOVE it?!?! I was nursing her the other day and she kept doing this face up at me! I was laughing soooo hard!! That is until she bit me!! OUCH!! Lani has NEVER done that before! Maybe this is the start of the weaning? Hmmm…..
I was doing the dishes today and I noticed a small flash in the livingroom but I thought it was the sun coming through the window. Then I plugged my SD card into my lap top and this is what I found!
Lani’s beautiful photos!! You can see her toes, her favorite goldfish toy, Alex, and Jen’s foot!
*****************************************
I also have been tagged for 3 different games! They are pretty fun so I will get to them tomorrow! (maybe)
